Can a living memorial change the future? Memorials are built after conflicts to remember the dead. Can a memorial that exists during a conflict change the outcome? This memorial is a large trough that has one gallon of oil added to it for every casualty caused by the war. With every death, the memorial becomes more apparent, more noxious, and harder to ignore. This project was inspired by Ambient Devices.
