I love animals
and I also think that the pet|owner relationship is an awkward one.
Owners race home each evening to walk, feed, and clean up after their
beloved pet. There is an interesting power balance between these
two. For inspiration for this pet line, I looked at BDSM culture
and accessories. These bones are containers for doggy treats. This
product was exhibited at Salon di Mobile in Milan and ICFF in New
York. It will be in production January 2007 courtesy of
Gaia & Gino.
UPDATE: After attempts with four manufacturers, the bone was deemed too tricky to
make and removed from the Gaia & Gino Lineup.
