Playing around with devices is a good way to stumble across new ways of creating. Originally, I had rolled my face across the scanner bed hoping to create a smooth transition between the left, front, and right sides of my face. Instead, the scanner broke my face into vertical stripes. It was a happy - if unplanned - discovery. This piece is featured on the Adobe website.
